The campsite is at Fusina a crummy port that looks over the lagoon to Venice.we got there quite late and it was foggy the next morning we woke up to a most beautiful red sky and the floating town looming in the mist.We hopped on the ferry so excited ...Its hard to unravell the superlatives for this place its like nowhere else on earth.I am currently reading the city of falling angels..john berendt
